Pom pom is a wonderful finishing touch for any project - a hat or a scarf or an ornament.
​They are a fun way to embellish  and decorate so many things! 
​These colourful pom poms are the project themselves - a beautiful wreath for Christmas or some other holiday.

Pom poms are a super fun easy way to use up yarn leftovers. All my pom poms are made of random scraps, and each pom pom is unique. I mixed different yarn textures, and the result was amazing!
Any yarn scraps are good for that (cotton, acrylic, and others) - I used wool and mohair. In addition to this, I used fiber from the Classic Thrum Mitts kit (by Fleece Artist) purchased in the yarn shop in Kensington on P.E.I. years ago.  Click on the image below to go to Artisaknity newsletter about yarn shops.

You need a pom pom making gadget and several evenings of your time.
