It's a marshmallow world in the winter,
When the snow comes to cover the ground,
It's the time for play, it's a whipped cream day,

The other name for these wrist warmers is April.Andes. Atacama Wrist Warmers.
April is autumn in Chile (I lived there in 2013). And it can be quite chilly in Chile at that time!!  So I had to knit something! As you can see, I made these cute wrist warmers. That helped a lot! The knit pattern: cables and double seed stitch.  Crocheted edge. Plus the colours of the desert.... Click on any of the images to learn and see more

It was so much fun to knit this Unicorn Hat!
The hat itself was knit in the round on double pointed needles. Then I crocheted this beautiful purple horn and stitched it to the top centre of the hat. Then I made these two cute ears. Then the small roses. The last step was a colourful mane - each part of it was stitched to the hat. It was magic!!  The first try was on a snowman on a wonderfully weird April day - it snowed!  The hat was fitting very well.
The hat was made in 2021. 
​Amelia was 6,5, and Zoey just turned 3. Today 'Zoey the Unicorn' is 7.

The inspiration came from  beautiful Florida - the sun, the sky, the flowers, and all the tropical colours.
So when I saw the Lang Yarns Tropical in
